The VOD Coalition appoints Julia Maxwell as its first Executive Director
The European Video-on-Demand (VOD) Coalition is delighted to announce the appointment of Julia Maxwell as our first Executive Director effective immediately[1].
Julia will focus on expanding the Coalition’s presence in Europe, driving the Coalition’s advocacy efforts across the EU institutions, as well as policy makers, media and civil society. Her focus will be on championing the interests of the VOD sector in Europe and working with partners across the creative, cultural, and digital sectors. Julia brings over 15 years’ experience in the media and streaming industry to the role, having most recently been SVP of Regulatory and Public Affairs for Viaplay Group AB, an international streaming company based in Stockholm.

About Julia Maxwell
A dual Irish/British citizen, Julia holds a Law degree at UCL. She has a strong background in Public Policy, Regulatory Affairs and Compliance. She previously also served on the Board of the Association of Commercial Television, and on the Board and as Spokesperson of the VOD Coalition.
